A group of veteran reformists known as “Otai Reformis 1998” want Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin’s head to roll.
The group has urged PKR to pressure Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to dismiss the party vice-president from his cabinet.
Towards this, Otai Reformis 1988 chairperson Dr Idris Ahmad submitted a memorandum detailing the group’s demands to PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail’s officer at the party headquarters in Petaling Jaya this evening.
“We want PKR to demand that the prime minister drop Zuraida with immediate effect for not adhering to the (PKR) leadership.
“She had clearly insulted PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and other leaders during the dinner in Kuala Lumpur,” Idris told reporters later.
